In this project, I created a trivia game using vanilla JavaScript and jQuery. Each question has a timer set to 15 seconds. If the user answers the question before the 15 seconds are up, they are told whether they were correct or not, and the quiz moves to the next question. If they do not answer the question within 15 seconds, the correct answer is revealed and they are presented with the next question.

In this project, my team and I made an application that helps the user decide where to eat dinner. The application uses two APIs with the Ajax method. Our app uses the FourSquare API to select a random restaurant (or restaurants) and the Waze API to navigate to the restaurant after one is chosen.

In this project, I made an application that uses a form in which the user will input train arrival information. The user input is then stored into a Firebase database and displayed into a table on the UI. Moment.js was used to calculate the arrival times of the next upcoming trains.

In this project, I used jQuery to make a math game where crystals were assigned random values. Every time you click on a crystal, the value of that crystal is added to your total. If you match your total to the random number selected at the beginning of the game, you win!

In this project, I made an Amazon-like store application that ran in the command line. Depending on which command is used, a customer could view a list of available items and make a purchase, or a manager could view and update the inventory. The inventory is tracked in a table using MySQL.

In this project, I made a Friend Finder app using ExpressJS. This full-stack site will take in results from the users' surveys, then compare their answers with those from other users. The app will then display the name and picture of the user with the best overall match. Express is used to handle routing.

In this project, I created a burger logger using MySQL, Node, Express, Handlebars and a homemade ORM (yum!). Eat-Da-Burger! is a restaurant app that lets users input the names of burgers they'd like to eat. Whenever a user submits a burger's name, the app will display the burger on the left side of the page -- waiting to be devoured. Each burger in the waiting area also has a Devour it! button. When the user clicks it, the burger will move to the right side of the page. The app stores every burger in a database, whether devoured or not.

In this project, I worked on a team to create a website with Sequelize, NodeJS, Express, and Handlebars. The Forum Store is a new kind of shopping experience - one where you can ask other customer's opinions on the products in real time using our chat window. We used Sequelize models to create our database, which holds our product inventory as well as our customers' usernames and passwords (which are encrypted using PassportJS). The chat functionality uses Socket.IO.

In this project, I created an app that will scrape news articles from an existing site and display them to our page. The user can save articles and make notes on them to view later.

In this project, I created a React app that will shuffle character cards every time they are clicked. If the user clicks on each card only once, they win the game. If they repeat a card, the game starts over and they can try again.

In this project, my team and I built a MERN stack application using MongoDB, Express, NodeJS, and React. The idea for this app came about from this team's mutual love of theme parks and especially roller coasters. Our inspiration was to create a Yelp-type app specifically for roller coasters and the people who love them. Our app currently lists all the roller coasters in PA and their specifications, and it allows users to rate the coaster and save it to their profile along with how many times they've ridden it.
